I put up a video highlighting some of the things I like about SageTV. You can check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tD1AMmBUYbQ

It's short and I hope sweet...

Cool.

Do you really placeshift to a car PC? Using a 3G card?

Cool video. Do you plan on making another one when V7 comes out with the new UI?

I've been doing it for a while. Really does work quite well (obviously, depending on my signal strength). Considering it's only a 7" 800x480 screen, it's not like you really even notice the low resolution of the placeshifting.

Is this on a CarPC? Or something else?

Yeah, CarPC. Atom330 based system. Since I only use Placeshifter when I'm sitting waiting somewhere, it's not an everyday thing... but it is really nice to have. i have pulled over many times to setup a recording of favorite from the side of the road.

Very nice.

I always wanted to make a video to show off SageTV too, but could never find the time to do it. I'm glad you did it.

I've been researching a lot about a Car PC also, but still haven't decide what components to buy. Your screen is mounted high on the dashboard, does that present a visibility problem from bright sunlight?

As for the diagram, I'm confused as to why the splitter for the NIM-100s is connected to the splitter to the antenna. Is that necessary? And shouldn't there be a splitter for the HDHR's 2 tuners too?

I have a hood for my monitor to prevent glare from here: http://www.semsons.com/7scviforpena.html

As far as the NIM-100's MoCA adapters, I use the coax pass-through for connection to my receiver's FM tuner, which uses the OTA antenna. There is a 2-way splitter for the HDHR, but it is not shown.
