Is it possible to modify the Amazon VOD menu item? Currently it automatically goes right to your library folder. However there is also an amazon prime folder and the only way to get there there is the long tedious UPnP menu style. It's not the end of the world or anything but I would like to be able to add that to the menu entry. If it's as easy as adding a line or two to the playon file.

Never mind I figured it out. Love when things are this easy to modify.

For anyone reading and interested, change the file to:

- Amazon_VOD : ("/search" "PlayON:Amazon VOD:+1")
- Video_Library : ("/search" "PlayON:Amazon VOD:Video Library:+1")
- Prime_Instant_Video : ("/search" "PlayON:Amazon VOD:Prime Instant Video:+1")

You will then see an option for your Video Library and the Prime Instant Video when you select Amazon VOD from the playon menu list.

i went through and doublechecked and have no addons like that

I fixed it by deleting some cache files in:

C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\SageOnlineServicesEXEs\UPnPBrowser

and

C:\Program Files\MediaMall\plugins\Cache

I tried to search for this issue, but don't really know what the best search terms are.

My issue/question is that there seems to a limit to the number of shows that appear in a single Hulu show listing. For example, when I pull up the "S" shows, the list only gets to "Sm", while I'm pretty sure that there are additional shows later in the alphabet.

Is there a limit to the number of shows presented in one view? Is it a Playon limit, or a plugin limit?

Any way to increase it?

I discovered that there was an update to the plugin in the repository. I updated it, and all is well now. Not sure if this was a specific fix in the new version, or if just restarting it fixed it or what, but I'm good now.

My Queue importer doesn't seem to be working anymore - consequently I don't see my Netflix Movies in the Sage UI - I am using Diamond. Anyone else see this?

I have the latest version of Playon, Playon does work when I use the Playon menu in Sage and there doesn't appear to be an update for the Playon Sage plugin.

I'm having some issues with the Playon plugin. Can someone take a look? It stopped playing video a week ago. Since then I have updated SageTV7, Playon, and the Playon plugin. Everything looks as it should, I can pull my Netflix and Hulu queue, I can browse new shows within the Playon plugin (like go to ABC and see shows.) My issue is the show won't play. For example I start a Hulu program. It looks like it's loading but only pulls up the first couple frames of video and stops. I can forward though the video, frame-by-frame, but it will never play. Here is the output from the command:

I had an issue about a week ago. An update of Playon fixed this for me.


all programs/playon/playon settings


then....

system check tab/ check now (for updates) on the top right. Get the full package download, I never have luck with the "update patches".

Thanks. Yes I did that. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin and all it's dependencies.

Although, when I reinstalled Playon, it still had all my registration and settings. so maybe I should uninstall and delete the folder before I reinstall.

Does anyone have NFL Rewind working? I have Hulu and Netflix working through this plugin, but for some reason the NFL Rewind queue is empty.

I can access the queue using Playon from my PS3, so I know I have it set up correctly in the Playon settings.

Hi All,

I figured it out. Playon was fine- I tested it using my Xbox. It looks like my Microsoft Codecs were messed up. I un/reinstalled shark007 and re-registered the MS codecs and it's working again.

I can browse to the PlayLater folder but would like to add it to the file to make it show on the menu. The menu chooser in the app doesn't list it so I guess I need to edit the upnpbrowser.presets file. Any ideas on what to put in the to list it below all the others in the playon menu? Tks, Bill

It's working, I couldn't get to it from Online TV-> Sports, but it worked when I browsed UPNP.

They must have changed some of the UPNP path names. What's the folder structure you need to navigate to get the content via the UPnP Browser?

Anyone know where to put an entry for Playlater to show up on the Playon menu page so I don't have to keep browsing for it?
