I have tried restarting Sage and also doing a power off reset of the problematic extenders.

Is there a log I can post to help troubleshoot?
Well, the problem he was having was that he would see that message and *then* the real video would play. If all you're seeing is that message then you need to follow its advice makes sure that your extenders have the PlayOn UIMod installed AND enabled.

There's a fine line between a disabled plugin and a disabled brain and I am on the wrong side of that line.

No WAS about it, still am seeing it. Is the STVI broken as you said it may be? No worries as it eventually plays, just bugging the crap out of me.

Thanks EP!

Wonderful Plugin!! Thanks for creating it!

It's working great, but I must have done something wrong somewhere, as I don't have the option to change the playon menu location. According to the video, it should be on the playon settings menu, but it's not there (see attached pic).

Any idea what might be wrong?

Sage software is the most recent, running on XP.

Installed Plugins - General
Batch Metadata Tools Web Interface
Infopopup/Caller ID
Jetty Webserver
Ortus Core API
Ortus MQ
Phoenix Core Services
SageTV H2 Database
Installed Plugins - Theme
Serenity
Installed Plugins - UI MOD
CVF Custom Video Folder
Enable/Disable Favorites
Import/Export Channel
Infopopup STVi
Phoenix Fanart
Replace Index Numbers with Season/Episode
Resolve Live TV Conflict
STVI Configurator
Custom Main Menu (temporarily removed)

Thanks,

Bobby

PlayON for Amazon Prime

Hi,
Many thanks for this plugin, I enjoy it daily.

I finally got around to getting amazon prime and was wondering why it's not showing up in the submmenu for Amazon VOD, if I go straight to Playon via main menu I do see it, however if I try getting to it via the submenus provided by the STVI the amazon VOD show but not prime submenu.

anything I can set to have it show via submenus/genre ?

Many Thanks

I posted the same question but haven't had any response yet. I don't think there is anything that can done in settings to fix this.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Amazon Prime Instant Video folder in PlayOn Main Menu
Is there a way to get the Amazon VOD Prime Instant Video folder to show up when Amazon VOD is selected in the Playon settings (Playon -> Playon -> Playon Settings -> Choose which PlayOn Items to show in the Main Menu).

When you select Amazon VOD from the PlayOn Main Menu it only has the standard Amazon VOD folder and not the Prime Instant Video folder.

If you click on the PlayOn menu item from the main SageTV home screen and then on the Amazon VOD, both the regular Amazon VOD and the Prime Instant Video folders are there and work normally.

The update is great...thanks for all the effort it must have taken to make this work and look like it does!!

Yeah, I gotta update that video, I removed that feature for a few reasons so now PlayOn doesn't replace anything so the setting wasn't needed anymore.

I didn't know Amazon worked like that, i'll get that fixed.

In the meantime, you can fix it yourself by opening the file
Code:
C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\SageOnlineServicesEXEs\UPnPBrowser\UPnPBrowser.presets
and chaging this line to read
Code:
Amazon_VOD:::"/search" "PlayON:Amazon VOD:+1"

Thanks, that indeed fixes the problem. Again, thanks for the great plugin - it makes SageTV my one-stop shop for video these days.

Question Grouped by alphabet instead of groups of 100, 500, etc...

I can't help but think this may be a dumb question since I've never seen a playon browser anywhere except via a sageTV plugin. So, not sure if this is something I should ask no the Playon forum (people who made Playon) or here:

Generally speaking, can we have a feature to browse movie titles in groups of 100, 500, or a user-defined number (still in alphabetical order), but not broken up under each alphabet letter? Its not that easy browse through movies to watch when you have to go under each alphabet letter one by one. If I had to guess, this is out of the sageTV plugin's control; and all Playon clients group movies under each letter in the alphabet. It seems like a very unproductive way to skim through available movies.

I also have a question somewhat related to this. When browsing long lists(Icefilms) they are broken into Page1, Page2, etc. I just installed XBMC to test it out and it displays all movies(by letter) in a single long list when using Playon. I also found a single column list was much easier to browse.

So my questions are:
1. In Sage via Playon is it possible do display long lists without paging?
2. Is the current display just a matter of the template used by Sage?

I can post some xbmc screens if it helps.

I want to add that this plugin is a lifesaver!! I and the family use it daily. I only wish SageTv offered a more direct plugin structure for some of these features. The IceFilms direct plugin for xbmc is fantastic.

Thanks for the great work!

I'm having an issue since I had to do a clean install of Sage to fix a different problem (fix one thing, break another!)
Everything works fine if I go in under 'PlayOn'. If I go in under Videos, they show up, correct information, but when I go to play the same thing it says 'You shouldn't be seeing this. Make sure that you have UI MOD :: Playon Plugin updated and enabled.'
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Playon plug several times, and even deleted my imported folder and reimported them.
I would just go ahead and use 'Playon' from the menu, but since it isn't working through 'Videos' it won't work through MyMovies or Diamond. It gives the same message. Was working fine until I updated all my plugins and went to the newest beta. Great plugin and would appreciate any help.

Thanks for the tip. I did look there and the folder did exist. I even tried changing it to something else. No luck. Update: Tinkered all day with no luck, so still open to suggestions.

I have "No videos found" when trying to use Playon. In SageTV, I select Playon, Netflix, Browse Genres. Any other combination of using Playon in SageTV also results with "No videos found". I am using Windows 7 64-bit. Playon used to work several weeks ago. I recovered back to 3 images up to almost two months ago, and still have the problem.

The log shows it is a UPnP problem. I tried turning off the Windows 7 firewall, which did not help. The Playon software is running on the SageTV computer. My Netflix and Hulu account passwords check OK within Playon.

How do I fix the "No videos found" problem?
