In program guide only the USB 950Q tuner stations have any video, all UVERSE channels show "No Signal" just like I tested before starting this thread. By the way there are many channels not listed, channel 9 and 1100 and many others do not show up in Program Guide.

Had to make sure. You cannot rely on the the preview window as it can sometimes not work even though the card does work in the normal screens. Both the HD-PVR and Colossus have had this issue on my system. I just ignore the preview screens and finish the setup and all is well. Sorry it is not the same for you.

Thanks for the attempt. Not sure this can be solved in a timely manner. W7MC seems to be supported and there are working examples with VIP1200 STB to go by. I'm glad I tried SageTV 7 before buying!

Yeah brain-fart. TV's aren't doing the decoding when fed an HDMI signal which means the video must be sent down the pipe un-compressed. I guess the advantage would be no analog line loss but there would still be some quality loss due to re-compression. Oh, and the single cable that Plucky mentioned

Spectrum,
The HDCP key must be negotiated between VIP1200 and sink before encrypted stream is sent out. Even if I want to watch live streams, they still have to go VIP1200 to MUX-HD decrypted then Colossus, software PVR and out PC video card to TV, LCD, projector, etc.

UVERSE HDMI in not supported

Just got another email from support, nothing usefull suggested as a fix. I think my situation is too odball and rare for SageTV to support. Without my hardware in their hands I think it's almost impossible to diagnose and fix. Sending captured logs from WinTV7 and SageTV7 did not help them to find the problem and come up with a solution. The plain fact is "UVERSE HDMI in not supported" Case closed! Not really a big supprise, SageTV honors DRM as they should.
