Try switching to the 'Serenity' skin and see if it works there.

I am using the default Skin as far as I know but I can't check as I am not home. I have seen this on an HD-200, a Placeshifter and on the server (Win7 Pro) itself.

Ok, this is from work via PS.

I had the Serenity theme loaded at home on clients prior to Phoenix (love it), however I uninstalled all plugins except Comskip and Web Interface prior to loading Phoenix

On my PS, I installed Serenity plugin, set to use. In Archived TV view, enabled banners, same result with glow only. Disabled, re-enabled. Same.
Went to settings and confirmed Serenity was them being used. Reselected it from choices, reloaded Phoenix UI, and back to Archived TV. Same result.

Will try Serenity on my clients after work.

PS. Not sure if some optimization was done between .08 and .09, but PS seems to be working somewaht better in screen transitions with all the fanart.

For Phoenix the Serentity is a skin built into it. You get to it thru the Option command on the Main scree and then Preference and then Skins.. You don't use the Serentity theme thru the plugin system of the default.

Good catch Gerry - I didn't connect those dots even after reading Grants post a couple of times!

So yes, Options->Preferences->Skin Manager lets you select between phoenix skins.

Looks excellent. Really like it. Fast on PS, so I presume will be lightning quick on LAN.

Is it possible that the banner can also have a white outline box of same width around it? This would make scrolling more consistent. And if possible, maybe make the series test when no banner white. I am finding the orange/yellow a little difficult to read.

I also like the way if no banner, when you highlight episodes, the series glows orange.

I'm with ya on the orange I def prefer blue. When I first got my hands on Phoenix I tried to make a blue serenity theme, but I didn't really understand how things were working then so it didn't really work out so well..lol I think I just tried to just replace that orange image with a blue

Actually, I have always liked the orange . Used it since v6. Just on the left side the text color is yellow vs. white

It's grown on me..hence why I haven't revisited making it blue. This is just one of those personal unique pref things
