Double the number of shows recorded

I have all my favorites set to record 10 shows. A few days ago I noticed that they had gotten up to 20.

I took a show and deleted all but 5. Then set it to record only 9. After a bit they it had recorded 18.

Batch Metadata Tools was the last plugin I installed and I was investigating some of the things it could do. I don't recall doing anything that would trigger this odd behavior but that is the only thing that I can think of that was changed before and after I had this happen.

Any way to reset the favorites so they only do 10?

I think I found it - Go to schedule recordings/manage favorites/ and edit each one of your favorites there where it says "keep at most" - all, and see if changing it to 10 fixes your problem.

My suggestion is that you check the favorite of the shows you had to delete extra episodes and see if they are set to all instead of what you thought they were

Stupid me , I just reread your first post and you said they are already set. Sorry. If it's not working then you should file a bug to the makers of sage tv.

I had a similar problem and it was because when I selected "TV" on the menu I had previously selected "all recordings". When I select "current recordings" I had the proper number of shows.
