Looking for an easier way to delete recordings

Does anyone know of a plugin or mod to SageTV that will provide an easier "on screen" way, with a mouse, to delete recordings? I would like to have a "Delete this Recording" button on the main screen in addition to the play, pause, stop buttons. Or, a 'right click' option to delete a recording while it is being played or paused. Presently one must go to the program listings and delete a program from there.

How about a "stop and delete" button? There could be a confirmation that you so indeed want to delete, but this would be much quicker and easier than having to go back to the program listings and delete.

Also, when doing "Play all recordings", and you hit the stop button, it kicks you all the way out of the program list for that specific program and this makes it even more inconvenient to delete a recording. In this mode, a "stop and Delete" button should then move on to the next unplayed recording.

Of course, one can use the keyboard "delete' key to do this, but it still kicks you out of the 'unplayed program' queue.

If there is no present mod or plugin that can do this, I sure wish somebody would develop it. Seems pretty basic.

Take a look at "Select and Batch Delete". It lets you "select" recordings (or groups of recordings) to delete with a single keypress and then delete them all at once. It's not exactly what you are looking for, but it does simplify deleting recordings.
