Unable to install 1394 drivers with my WHS system

This one's kinda frustrating, I have two different chipset 1394 cards a VIA and an NEC card. Both of them are giving me this issue when I try to install them.

OHCI Compliant IEE 1394 Host Controller error with driver

it was working before I had to re-install WHS awhile back and then after the re-install WHS refuses to work with either card. The driver can not be found anywhere on WHS. The weird thing is that it can find a driver for something else dealing with the OHCI.

I attached an image, the 1394 is currently hooked up to my cable box.

Have you installed al the WHS updates and PowerPacks? And do you have WHS drivers (Windows Server 2003) for it? Or are you using WIndows XP drivers? (which should work.) Are there any onknown devices showing up in Device Manager?

You may also want to look at this: Some Devices Are Not Recognized When You Use Multiple IEEE 1394 (FireWire) Devices

There is a hotfix for Windows server2003 and XP.
