Moved Sage- now recordings missing
I moved Sage to it's own box, but now it can only see the most recent recordings from the old box. I've read the FAQ and had no issues changing directories before using the same method. I even tried to uninstall Sage and start the process over, but it seems to remember it's previous settings, so I assume something is being kept in the registry? I'll uninstall again and delete the Sage diretory this time, maybe that will do it?

If you moved Sage to a seperate physical box and the old recordings exist on a different physical computer you would need to run the Sage service with a network account that exists on both PCs. That account would also require a password to be able to run the service.

I just smoked my install including the SageTV directory and redid the install. All went as planned this time by following the FAQ. Not sure what went wrong the first time. |
