Can I use SageTV Client 7 with a 6.x server?
I need to add a client, but I'm still on server 6.x . Can I purchase and run client 7 while I'm still running the 6x server? I don't want to buy a new 6x client, since I'll eventually go to the latest version on the server too, but I just don't have the time or inclination to get into a new server setup right now.
What are my options? Thanks. Mick

Client and server versions must match. But there's no upgrade fee for client licenses. A license that works on the V6 client will also work on V7. However I'm not sure that the licenses currently for sale will work with V6. You might have to email sales to get a V6-compatible license.
