SageTV MPEG2(DVD) TEARING video
All,
I've been using SageTV for six years... and video has been tearing the whole time. Nvidia and ATI both, mostly ATI. VGA, DVI, HDMI it doesn't matter. It actually seems to be getting worse. Other applications on my Win7x64 machine play perfect: Cyberlink Ultra 8, WMP, MPC-HT. My configuration is an Asus ATI HD-5450, HDMI A/V into Onkyo then to a Vizio display. The host is an AMD brisbane 2.3GHz Athlon. I am using MS Native DTV decoders and FFDshow for audio. DVD playback really looks horrible. Somebody must have a solution.
