imported videos out of audio sync !

I'm confused, I have imported movies and some of the movies play just fine and some play fine for a few minutes then they drift out of sync with the audio, I have messed with all the video/audio settings with no luck at all, is there a patch or something I'm missing, I never had these problems with sagetv 6.6 only since I upgraded to 7, I downloaded the newest K-Lite Codecs, video drivers and audio drivers for my system with no luck.

I've noticed that VBR .avi files tend to go out of sync on my HD200. They used to play fine on SageTV 6. If I remux the affected files into a .mkv then they play fine.

I should spend some more time on problem determination and file a bug report.

I found that after installing SageTV 7, I had the same problem. And it has occured 1 more time after initial occurence...Anyway, my recordings from HD PVR would start out fine, then audio would slowly but surely lose sync.....The fix was to pwr down/pwr up HD PVR...keep in mind, this has occured twice, but not for a couple months now.....And u and I agree, this never occured with SageTV 6.xxx. By the way, the recorded media with sync issues simply had to be deleted....no fix.

last night I was messing around with it and if I convert the file to MPEG4 High quality AVI then it works fine, must be the bitrate or something........thankfully there are only a couple of videos acting up
