SageTV 7 EPG update not waking PC

I cannot figure out how to get EPG updates to wake up this system?

SageTV 7.0.23 on XP Pro SP3 32-bit. S1 and S3 standby are supported. Hibernate is supported but I have disabled this so system can only go into standby. (Output from 'powercfg' command line utility confirms.)

I have SageTV installed as a system service and also have SageTV icon 'sleeping' in systray. (No clients, no extenders, etc. just this one SageTV installation.) System is dedicated to SageTV recording only, it has no other function.

SageTV wakes this system for recording, then system goes back into Standby until awakened for next recording. This part is working beautifully. But no EPG updates and lots of SageTV messages the updates have been missed. How to do?

I have set up Task Scheduler to wake the PC in time for EPG updates, but I'm hoping SageTV knows how to do this directly, just like it does for recordings -- and I've just missed finding the info to set this up.
