I have been unable to setup my HD200 on a wireless bridge (DLINK DAP-1522) so that it sees the internet connection from the wireless router (Linksys WRT160N). The DAP-1522 is set in bridge mode and I have verified using a laptop directly connected to it that the bridge does allow internet traffic from the router.
Is there some settings or something I need to change on the HD200 to get the internet/online content connection working? If it matters, the DAP-1522 has connected to it a WHS running as the Sage Server, HDHomeRun (dual network tuner), and the HD200. Thd HD200 has no trouble seeing the tuners and WHS directly connected to the bridge. I can see the WHS from a laptop over wifi also. Thanks for any and all help! |

I picked this up when it was on sale a couple of weeks ago at newegg. I running it as an AP/wired switch and am pleased with its performance. In bridged mode, I would make sure DHCP is off on the DAP-1522 and let your router do that. You may need to power cycle sage server, router, Dap-1522, and the HD200.

Hm, now I can't get a laptop hooked directly up to the DAP1522 to be able to get on the internet.
Router: 192.168.1.1 and can assign 192.168.1.100-149 Bridge: 192.168.1.149 -static IP, w/ the default gateway set at 192.168.1.1 I can get into the bridge setup via the IP address on a laptop wired to the bridge. The bridge says it's connected to the router wirelessly and I can get an IP address on the laptop when I run ipconfig. Hm...not sure what I need to try now, any recommendations/thoughts? |

I'm pretty weak when it comes to networking but I think 192.168.0.50 should be the default IP of the Dlink in bridged mode and it may have to be directly connected to a computer during the set-up so it doesn't default into AP mode. Should be able to access it http://DLINKAP. So I would make sure the switch is set to bridged mode rather than Auto if you haven't done so already. A guide below:
