Recordings View Question

Recently updated to V7, my daughter asked why on the recorded tv screen, when a group of recordings is in focus, the view on the right pane has some recordings from the group highlighted in yellow. I cannot seem to find any reference to this, anyone tell me what it means?

That highlights which group item's thumbnail or other info is being shown. It used to cycle through the items in the group, -- that's disabled by default now, but you can enable it at Detailed Setup -> General -> Animation Options -> Cycle through subgroup items.

I figured the one in yellow would be the first one to play if you hit Play at that point, but instead it started in the reverse order. Why is that? I have mine sorted by Original Air Date, so the yellow one is the oldest.

It should play them in the order listed on the screen, but it seems to play them in a different order only when you press Play while the group is highlighted -- this is caused by an insidious insect in the code.

For now, select the group first so that you see the pop-up options dialog, then either use the Play command or choose the "Play all.." option. That will correctly play the subgroup in the order you see listed on the right side info area.

LOL!. That's what I figured.

No problem, for now. I just go into that group and play in my desired order. A fix in the future would be nice though. Thanks Opus4.
