Case sensitivity of show titles - bug when grouping?
I have a Favorite created for a show called "Ni Hao, Kai-lan". This favorite records shows with this title and also with the title "Ni Hao, Kai-Lan". (The only difference is the capitalized L). Unfotunately the case of the L is inconsistent in the guide data - even on the same channel on the same day.
But when SageTV groups the shows, even in the default UI, it groups these into two separate groups, one called "Ni Hao, Kai-lan" and one called "Ni Hao, Kai-Lan". Is this a bug or feature? If Sage sees these as two different shows then why does the favorite record both spellings?

I noticed something similar recently, but I think it was caused by BMT. Not really BMT's fault, but some of the show names BMT gathers from the online source have variations in the spelling like that. I had an issue with Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon where the 'w' is different and some shows got split into different groups because of that. I'm pretty sure the guide data was consistent, and then BMT updated the metadata and changed the title to match what it found online which was different than what was in the EPG...but I'm not 100% certain of this. I only started seeing this happen after updating to the latest release of BMT a week or two ago.
In any either case (pun intended ), it would be nice to allow groups to not be case sensitive.

I don't think that it is BMT related - when I search for upcoming shows I see the title with both upper and lower case. I am thinking of creating a SJQ task to fix this.
