HVR-1952 recording problem

I am using a HVR-1952 with Sage 6.6. The box controls a cable box via its IR blaster and takes its input via composite. Hardware assisted recording is working but there is a problem when 2 shows are recorded back to back. Sage says "no signal" when the 2nd program starts. Sage detects the loss of signal, resets the box, and the recording of the 2nd show continues (minus the 1st minute). The same problem comes up when I attempt to change channels with the up/down buttons. The channel change happens but the video capture breaks. Selecting a program via the program guide works normally.

Oops, yes, you are correct. It's an HVR-1950. I updated the driver. I got 2 "entry point not found" errors during install. Hardware manager does report the updated driver. The problem is still there. The system is XP SP3 by the way.

I try uninstall ever thing and start over being the "entry point not found" can be cuase by a lots thing just uninstall from add/remove programs and run hcwclear in that drivers zip if there is one.

It should be note that XP is getting really old and very out date so I highly recommend ditching XP and going for Windows 7 as soon possable.
