Lost all recorded show data
Ok I had for some reason to completely reinstall sage. I wiped out the whole program folder. I keeped a copy of my wiz bin and sage props. When I reinstalled I lost all my prerecorded show listings. They are located on a seperat drive(E.) when I change the directory to look at that drive. I only have one show listed.
Any help on retriving my sage directory would be great. Thank you |

If you mean the shows physically are gone look for a errant folder. The often get moved there if Sage has no idea what they are.

No they are in the hard drive they are just not showing in the recorded directory. I redirected the folder to the E:/ but the shows are not showing up in Sage.

You'll probably find the shows listed with your imported videos under your media library. If they are listed there then they won't have any detailled info, but they will be playable. Before you did a new setup were these Recorded files stored in exactly the same location. ie. E:\ If you moved them to a different dir or even a different drive letter, then Sage will not be able to match the data stored in the Wiz file to the shows. The EPG data stored in the Wiz file for each recorded show is location specific.
If you didn't move the files when you reinstalled then you could try replacing you wiz file with your backup and then editting your properties file to show your old recording location. If you do all this before you startup SageTV then it shouldn't have achance to purge the Wiz file of what it thinks are invalid entries. Of course then you'll lose EPG data for every show recorded since you've re-installed. As the new Wiz file will have been overwritten. Sorry if I covered old territory, I just wanted to make sure we were all on the same page.
