On a scale of "where's the any key" to "there is a memory leak in the 64bit windows driver on line 523 resulting in a array out of bounds condition that has been trapped for and resolved" my confidence is somewhere in the middle.

Ok, then maybe this will help me. Can someone tell me a configuration with two colossus and sage that works? If I can't have a driver that works with my config, I will change my config. "If we don't meet your standards, lower your standards"

I think if you are using component with RCA audio, that should be pretty stable, also assuming you are using Windows XP. Also, may need daily reboots.

I am Win7 x64 with rca audio, component, an ZERO daily reboots. I am stable, no problems, unless i hookup toslink. Would really like to have 5.1, stereo blows in HD.

So, from the lack of responses, I can only gather that NO ONE has 5.1 working with component??

I reboot about once a week.

my optical audio works fine until the audio format changes (i.e. commercials). At that point, the video loses sync with the audio until the channel is changed or the recording ends.

Optical audio works fine for me as well.

One Colosuss, one HDHR, Win7 32Bit, Cableone, 2-5 Colosuss recordings per day, SageService restart daily, the original Colosuss driver(first one that came out), (3) HD200/300 extenders

It would be nice to know if Hauppauge is looking into the issues some of us are having (audio sync, blue screens). I noticed on their Facebook page that someone was having problems with their 2250 and they promptly posted an updated driver.

FWIW, i just spoke with tech support and they told me two cards in one machine is not supported, hope to be in the future, but not as of right now. He told me to take one card out and see if the sync issue is resolved.

Maybe Hauppauge should have called it "Potentially Colossus".

I have 2x Colossus running running via HDMI on DirecTV H20s without significant issues. Also have a HDHR and a AverMedia M780 for OTA reception.
I do have a scheduled nightly Therapeutic Reboot.

Spec:
OS: Win7-64
Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H with AMD Phenom II X3 and 4GB RAM
60GB SSD Boot, (RAID5) 5x 1.5TB, 2TB Backup Drive
System supports 5x SageTV Clients (only 2x heavily used)

Before I had 2x HD-PVR running well. Swapped a HD-PVR for the Colossus and had issue until the latest driver and SageTV update. Ran stable for a few weeks then swapped out the other HD-PVR for a second Colossus. In about 3 weeks I have had one incident where one Colossus was not working in the morning after the nightly reboot. Cycling the system fixed the issue.

I think i have a hardware man-crush

Whoa, removed a card. STILL have the sync issue. I'm not doing anything tonight, may as well try Win7 x32. Wish me luck!

Did you have both of them on Component + Optical Audio, simultaneously?

When I was running the 2x HD-PVRs they were Component and Optical. Almost never had issues.
On an older server using WHS I did end up with an external USB card for one of the HD-PVRs but they were stable on the current rig with all stock USB hardware.

No dice. x32 win7 pro, same audio sync issues. does anyone think it may be related to audio setup/drivers and/or audio over hdmi? I have an nvidia 9500gt with a gigabyte board sending out audio. This is constant between sage and Showbiz. Just thinking out loud.
