I don't think you can. The only thing you can do is set encoder merit which only sets up which turner you want to use first.

Unless you're watching sports live tv is an archaic concept. Watch streamed or recorded.

For best one M-Audio CO2
Thank for the advice and on the M-Audio CO2 I came upton that brand while doing researching and it seem to be a good brand however it quite pricey, 50-80 a piece. But this one is switchable allowing either direction with either connections so probably why it so pricey.

Thank again for the advices!

Bill

I'm really tempted to get this, especially at this price point. The only thing I'm worried about is growing pains or not being able to sell my USB HD PVR to offset the cost

well, you got a couple of years use, right? and you've finished writing off the depreciation on your 1040? i'd be happy with $50 for mine considering all the use it has gotten

not to mention the intangible joy of a new toy!

I checked with mikinho on this and he said that he was using a beta of SageTV. In fact, he said it's just a single file which needs to be updated to add the support. He'll be updating the Q&A post on Missing Remote.

I have one of these on its way to be used in my SageTV Server. Time Warner's copy nothing rules keep me from going the CableCard route.

I'm sure the link issue is just a problem with the store. Perhaps everyone crashed their server!

Got an Update from Hauppage.

Bad news was that they wanted more money from me for shipping since I live in HI.

The good news is that they said it will ship mid next week.

Quote:
...Please advise if you would still like us to continue to process your order so when the Colossus ships by mid next week, we can schedule your shipment.

Guess I'll have that e-mail waiting for me when I get home. How much more did they want for shipping?

Did you ship 2nd day air? They only wanted $4 more. They said it was $20 for 2nd day shipping to Hawaii instead of the $16 quoted during checkout. Not a big deal but still the hawaii living tax.

Yup, 2nd day. That's not nearly as bad as I was expecting. Thanks for the info!

Ah Snap!

Just had a bad thought. My PCI express slot is in line with the memory slots. If I scale my motherboard to match the Colossus...yip, you got it.

And before you suggest it, the x16 slot contains a video card, so that's not an option either.

Looks like it's time for a new MB. Is this going to be a common problem with microATX boards?

Half the memory or new memory module with twice the density? 2GB, maybe?

I think so - I posted above that I think this will push people towards full ATX boards and they seem less prevalent today than in the past.
