Switching to HDHR
I am getting ready to upgrade my Sage server, and in the process am switching from two 1600's to an HDHR.
My plan is to re-install Sage on the new server, then copy my key sage files...wiz.bin, etc from the old server to the new one. However, my question is....when I go into Sage on the new server to add the new HDHR tuners...can I just copy/use the channel mapping/lineup from the old 1600's...or do I need to do a channel scan/mapping all over again for the HDHR...even though I want the exact same channels on the HDHR that I had on the 1600's. Any help would be appreciated.

If the channels are the same you can use the exact same channel map.
The easiest way to accomplish your goal is to simply upgrade in place. Should work fine. No need to copy anything anywhere. Make a backup copy of your SageTV directory just in case... so you can revert to SageTV 6 if necessary.
