Play .asx file (stream)

I would like to play an online stream-
http://www.organlive.com/
but unable to get it to play.

I downloaded the .asx file, which has the url/ip of the stream. Apparently this .asx file is not seen as a valid format. I also tried playing it via the HD200 stand alone mode (.asx file on thumb drive, plugged into HD200). Pretty much anything else plays this stream- WMP, VLC, etc.

I thought this would be easy, but I guess its not, or I am overlooking something obvious (asx is a 'supported' playlist, but maybe there is many kinds of asx files?).

My idea was to simply add this .asx file to my Music folder, then select it when I want to listen to the stream.

I really am hoping I don't have to get into creating online properties files.

Am I missing something obvious, or is this possible to do in a simple way. (HD200 is my only client, SageTV on server just does server work, and is not connected to any audio/video).
