multipart transport stream (.ts) file support?

I am having a hard time searching for this since I cannot search on .ts or ts.

Does anyone know how to get multi-part transport stream files to playback seamlessly?

i.e.
part1.0001.ts
part2.0002.ts

etc...

What I do is use HDTVtoMpeg(free) to stitch them all together into one .ts file.

It's a breeze.

Appreciate the great tip! When I do the conversion should I keep it in TS format with a 99,999MB split size or should I convert to MPEG? Will this lose quality?

Does anyone know if SageTV will support multipart TS files natively in the future? (Is it on the roadmap)?

Thanks!

Narflex, if you read this -- any plans to make multi-file TS playback native to Sage?
