Non, je n'accede en rien a cette partie. En principe, il y aurait peut-etre moyen de faire quelque chose du cote des "network encoder", par exemple avec le port firewire, mais pour la partie ethernet c'est sans doute une methode proprietaire et non accesible pour les applications externes...

I have put links to updated videos in the first post. The white background with black and gray text from version 1.10 and earlier has been replaced with the blue theme that was already used in some places. Version 1.18 is currently "Waiting for review", so hopefully will get approved by the date of the iPad 2 release...

Hello, I really love this app, can't wait for the new Ipad to get it working on a bigger screen than my iphone 4. I have a question: is it possible to remap the buttons on the second screen (of the iphone 4) to allow the TV button to go to my sage recordings screen instead of live TV? Also, everytime the iphone goes to sleep (screen going blank), I lose connection to the server/extender and have to select both again to get the remote to work...is there some setting that I am missing?

Not currently, but I do have plans to make a third remote screens for user configurable buttons or such...

Well, if you unlock the screen right away you would still be connected. The issue is that the phone shuts off the wifi/3G antenna after a while. I do have some code to reconnect after sleep, but most likely the antenna isn't back online at that time. I will need to trigger on the wifi/3G state instead.

I bought this app a few weeks ago and I finally figured out why streaming wouldn't work in my x64 Linux server (installed 32bit version of libfaac fix that) and works great over 3G/Openvpn streaming in my car is awesome, my kids love having access in the minivan to the home video library while stuck in traffic

I purchased the app on my iphone 3gs and installed SageTCPServer through the plug-ins menu.
When I went to configure the TCPServer my sage application lost contact with the my server (I was doing the plug-in install on my server at the time).
In order to allow sage to acknowledge my server again I had to remove all SageTCPServer lines from sage's property files.
When I reinstall the TCP server I lose contact again. Can anyone help.

I'm not following... SageTV is the server, how can it lose contact with itself? Make sure to enable the debugging, then post your sage.properties and sagetv_0.txt files...

This has me baffled two. I have tried reinstalling the SageTCPServer plugin with the logging on. The log file is attached along with a photo of my screen showing the server connection is lost.
The only way I can get sage to reconnect is to remove all TCPserver references from the sage properties files.

OK, so in service mode, I guess losing connection to the server makes sense, when the service itself is crashed.

OTOH, I am not seeing a single reference to SageTCPServer in that log, so it's hard to know what is going wrong. You seem to be running the SageTV beta version, so that's probably the issue... Any chance you could revert to the non SageTV beta to install, and maybe move back to the beta after?

Right, I have the SageTCPServer plugin working. I installed it from and extender and configured it on the server. Just have to get the iphone app working now. Thanks.

The 7.1.5 beta should be fine... Currently the sagex 7.1.5 without the SageTV beta actually has issues with album art...

Also, in Genre view, I'm still missing some files from some Genres.. I can't figure it out. And is it possible to only display the main genre, rather than sub genres as well? For instance in tiSage I see:

I'm assuming it's on an iPad that the images are too small, in that case I could definitely double them. When the detail view was on the side, there wasn't really much more room than on an iPod/iPhone, but now it's different. I do have plans for coverflow/movie wall or such, but that kinda require pre-filling the image cache and keeping those images for longer or even permanently... With some people having thousands of albums/photos/videos, it wouldn't take long to eat up (hundred of) megabytes or even gigabytes, so be careful what you ask for...

Right, it has been mentioned before. While I could split on ",", splitting on "and" is trickier...

Finally, why are some titles shown with the folder name, ie, I have some videos in folder called "3D Videos", and it displays the title as "3D Videos/Monsters Vs Aliens 3D", rather than just "Monsters vs Aliens 3D".

If you don't have metadata for an imported video, the title will be the filename with path, and the episode title might be the filename. Sometimes it will use "vs" in one place and "versus" in the other, for a single video file. So I do try to reconstruct a proper title, but it's not always that easy.

A few things I noticed using it on my iPad in front of the tv this weekend.

1) it doesn't remember the last sort order.. I like sorting by Date, and it always reverts to some default.

2) When I play something on my extender, I'd like to quickly be able to jump to the remote screen. But there isn't a remote shortcut at the bottom of the screen like there is on the iphone.. i have to backout and go back to the main menu and click on remote. Alternatively, it could jump to the remote screen automatically when I play a video. I wonder if behavior like that could be customizable in the future too.

3) To play a program, I have to click on the name.. clicking on the thumbnail should have the same result but it doesn't.
