Pictures / photo's from slideshow fuzzy

I am using a HD300 on a 1080P enabled TV. I know the interface of the HD300 is running at a lower resolution, but because of this the pictures / photo's are very fuzzy on the slideshow.

Is it possible to increase the resolution of the HD300 when displaying photo's / pictures?

What resolution are you running the HD300 at?

The slideshow should be displaying photos at the same resolution as video playback; only the UI is lower resolution.

I am running the HD300 in 1080P 50hz PAL mode. Untill I few days ago I made use of SageTV clients and the picture quality was much higher I think. Have to check wat is going wrong and will compare it to the clients, which are still in place, tomorrow.

Is the slideshow from te screensaver the same as the slideshow from the picture catalog?

I was reminded that the full resolution is only used if they are jpeg files -- are the images jpeg or something else?
