Another failing API - 1.204

Hey folks,
Every time I try to install SMM the API fails on my client and extender. I just tried a totally clean client install and the same thing happened.

I'm attaching my log below. If anyone has any advice that isn't in the other threads, I'm all ears.

Thanks JP. That seemed to have worked. . . To a point.

Now all that shows in SMM is two items. Gladiator and something called "Season 1."

"Season 1" seems to be "Lost: Season 1" which is my Netflix queue. For some reason MyMovies keeps picking this up (obviously through the PlayOn importer plugin" but no other TV shows in the queue. . .

Also, I did poke around in the wiki for this and I'm not sure if it's intentional, but the rebuild datafile option is gone from SMM. . .

Sounds like you might have an issue another user had.

Wiki hasn't been updated to that yet but the rebuild of the datafile is located under the smm-API configuration settings now. Try that and if that doesn't work see the wiki and get me some logs to see if your problem is similair to another users.

I rebuilt the database and I'm still only getting those two items.

Should I go ahead and open up a bug on the wiki?

And also. . . Anyone know why that "Season 1" item keeps showing up in MyMovies and SMM?

Chris just enable trace logging and send me those logs per the wiki.

As for the season 1 what directory of playon did you add to the collection manager? At what level.

I added the lowest level to Collection Manager. . . I was under the impression that it had to be the same as what I entered into the PlayOn importer plugin config.

I'll change it to just the movies folder now and see if that works.

Just to be clear, I will then have the Playon plugin set to "\\HTPC\Media3\Netflix"
which contains a "TV" and "Movie" folder and Collection Manager set to monitor "\\HTPC\Media3\Netflix\Movies"

Is that correct?

Correct. You don't want the tv in the collection manager.
