Which CPU

So Currently I have my server running with a Phenom 9150e 1.8 Ghz quad core.. Well It looks like I am acquiring a Core Duo T2300 1.66 Ghz dual core.. Obviously the phenom has more power, but it also uses more.. So would the t2300 still be enough. It would be paired with 2gb ram & Tuner wise have a 2250 & a HDHR.

Depends on what work/duties you ask SageTV to do..
I do not use commercial skipping, and do not transcode, and my Celeron dual core doesn't break a sweat..

trini0 hit the nail on the head, if you aren't transcoding or comskiping than the T2300 should be more than plenty. Technically even the above can be done with a "slow" processor, but it will just take longer and can't be done on the fly. The core of Sage uses very little cpu. It's all the "extra" stuff that takes more power....
