Good eyes it is a mixture of MediaStream and a MediaBrowser Screen.

Yes watched/ unwatched filters will exist as well thanks for reminding me of that don't know how I left that out.

More screens will come.

1.You add a main menu item named as you want, lets say Ploxee.
2. You add a sub menu item to the above main menu item Imported TV or whatever you want.
3. You add the specific code to the sub menu item which then filters to Imported TV......this is all done in the STV (or xml if you wish) and will probably already be setup for you.
4. Repeat as many times as you want or you could even add the filter directly to the main menu item Ploxee.

Hopefully I'm not speaking out of turn

Cheers

Ben

That is correct for Ortus Dynamic menu but it will also work with the default main menu as well but will work better in the dynamic menu by far more customizable.

This strange world you live in where Movies and TV are in the same bucket is confusing and foreign to me. I have migraines and go into seizures when I see it.

And by the way, it looks awesome.

It seems foreign to me too. I guess I won't know until I try it Can't wait!

You guys are putting out some great looking stuff. I can't wait to see how Ortus comes together when it's finished. The glimpses coming through in these other imports is getting me excited.

Figured I would share how it looks with the upcoming Diamond Theme

This also give you a idea of how the main menu will flow will Ploxee and some of the predefined menu options (all can be turned on or off).

The by Genre, by Actor etc

You will get a screen list or flow depending on you setting of all genres clicking on one will of course show you the movies in that genre

cheers

ps JOrton is the man on the diamond theme he really is picky and good with the graphics and his work inspired this look!!!

Just a nit-pick here, but it'd be nice if the Ploxee screens (and I will NOT be using this if I can't rename that to something else, just saying ) had the same date / time banner as the SageTV UI - would make it seems like more of an extension of the UI rather than something altogether new......

To elaborate - I think I wouldn't mine using this assuming I like how it feels hands on, but I'd want it to replace the existing TV Recordings / Video screens in the menu, if that makes sense.....

btl.

Yes that is in the plans actually just haven;t gotten around to doing it yet it will not use the same banner per say (as I don't like the partial screen stuff) but will have the same header icons as the current theme)

As for renaming I coded your IpAddress to not allow renaming of ploxee

Also those menu screenshots on mine are not correct had the wrong darn stvi imported look at the combined to see the diamond menu in it's current form.

I got a question.

In the first post PluckyHD, you said the same Ortus folks that are working on the Ortus UI are working on this.

I was wondering why start Ploxee when the Ortus UI has not yet been released?

Can't wait for it BTW. Anything that improves the Wow Factor ;-)

Becasue Ortus is boring and we're fed up with it......basically a break from the normal stuff.

Cheers

We’re not paying you guys to take breaks you know...

(That said, personally I think I look forward to something like this more than Ortus...)

Interesting statement. What I get out of it is this: This was lots easier to make Ploxee than Ortus. I'm now far more interested in Ortus (if my interpretation of your statement is correct).

Will this have support for the built in categorization that exists in v7? I've built some nice views for me and the family that I would love to continue using.

Other than that, things look so great. Keep up the awesome work.

Wicked!

You should try them out they are pretty sweet. I just wish they were global. As it is I need to configure them on every client and extender. A mild annoyance.

Let's just say we were going to give you cool group views (like genre, actor, year, categories etc).

and let's just say it looks like the screencap below...

Would you want the count when including TV Episodes to count every episode like it does in the screenshot below or would you want it to only count series?

Example

Two and a Half men has 35 episodes

Would you want that counted as 35 or 1 (just in the group example)

of course all this is per say

You realize you're going to get both answers, right? But, seriously... damn... that's actually a really tough question. I see the benefit to both. I think I'm leaning towards the episode count, not the series count.

Keep in mind once you select a group you will get episodes like this

example

This is more just the count on the main group screen. I am going back and fourth on what it should show.

Count series.

Or best yet, make this option configurable
