Order of future airings

If I go to a favorite (like MLB Orioles Baseball) and see it is recording the wrong showing of the game, usually I will go to future airings and select the right airings. After my upgrade to 7.x those airings are in some random order. I want to order them by date showing (soonest first) but cannot find any secret key combo to make them do that?

how do I do this?

On the 'Additional Airing' screen, hit Options. This brings up the options menu (slides out from the right edge of the screen) - there should be a 'sorting' option there, and you can sort based on a number of different criteria from there.....

btl.

that is kind of hte problem.... how do I get to options.. in the screen I am referring to there is no option I can find. remember this is version 7 so you don't have additional airings but rather Future airings and past airings. I have tried the menu button on that screen but it doesnt do anything.

"Options" is available on the "Additional Airings" screen; from there you can select "sorting", and select Orig. Air Date, etc. This screen shot is from a specific favorite via Schedule Recordings / Manage Favorites/ (select favorite) / Additional Airings...

It turns out if you do this from the Recording Schedule screen, select a show, then select "Future Airings", the next screen that comes is actually called "Additional Airings"; it too, as the Options function available, either from the bottom right of the screen or from the "options" button on the remote (if yours is set up to have that).

I will see about adding a soft button to my remote for options. I saw that little word down there and knew that I wanted to hit it to sort it, but I still cannot figure out how to make my remote select options (other than having a button for options).

How do I sleect that little button down there on the bottom right?

Darc...
I love the pic you sent, that is the exact screen I am in (see my above post). One off topic question. I see you have a graph showing the disk size/free... was that an add on or is it a feature I did not know about?

Regarding "options" on a remote -- depends on the remote See http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48590 for how the (teletext)/yellow button is for options on some remotes.

For the disk space bit, that's part of the hidden (and unsupported) features:

Hey Darc
I hate to keep questioning you but I see in your pic you got the default menu options with the disk space bar on the bottom. I cannot figure out how to do that. I only get the disk bar when I enable the Malore recording menu, which I dislike.

How do I get the default menu and the disk use bar at the bottom?

Also I manage to program one of my soft buttons on my Logitec 720 and can now sort to my hearts content.

Thanks for the help.

as a side note I am running ver 7.0.12.234 I will update this weekend to the latest and see if I get the "Menu Disk Space Footer" options instead of the "Menu Disk Space Header" option.

You enable the hidden features and then you can disable the Malore menu in Detailed setup... after I've done that, I still have the diskbar but no customized menus... I think that's as good as it gets.
