Quickie- does Recorder support streaming to Sage Client

I read that SageTV can stream live audio/video to Sage Client. I am only interested in streaming live video over my network, not recording. Since Sage Recorder is a stripped version of SageTV, will it still work for live streaming with Sage Client? Since I only am looking for streaming, I don't want to buy all the features I don't need in SageTV.

Will Recorder work for live streaming?

The only way to integrate the recorder with the client is via a SageTV server. Recorder would be setup as a network encoder. It really is easiest to just use SageTV and then some clients.
