Trouble with Blaster...among others :/
I had things up and running "sorta" with my hd-pvr and hvr-2250.
I remember reading somewhere that there was issues with blasting when having more than 1 hauppage device in your system, but I didnt have them initially, but now I do. I believe it has something to do with the order in which you install your devices (drivers) Can anyone confirm ? I was having issues with the onboard USB controller locking up my usb devices, so I purchased a new usb 3 card (pci-e 4x) Soon as I placed it in my board it screwed up my 2250 drivers (pci-e x1). Right now I have the usb card out and the 2250 card is working again, but the baster commands are sent from the 2250 (using it for 2x analog cable) instead of the hd-pvr, which is connected to the stb. Any suggestions on how to right this ship??! |

I believe it has to do with which device the OS initializes first....
I believe those who use multiple Hauppauge devices switch to using the USBUIRT because of this, but I could be wrong. I've never used the included blasters....

I fought with this long and hard. the main thing is to make sure that the blastcfg program from Hauppauge is detecting the right hardware device.
I found that if i installed everything, and then disabled and uninstalled the one i want the blaster on, then rebooted (with it uninstalled) it would refind the hardware and since it was last one installed would use it. I was in contact with Hauppauge support multiple times, they said that they were not currently planning to upgrade the software to handle multiple devices.
