Harmony to press stop on power off
I would like to keep my hdX00's on when not using them I would however like for them to stop playback in case they are tying up a tv source. I quickly looked in my harmony remote options and found the obvious leave this device powered on. I can't find any way to modify the activity of powering off anyone seen or do this? Thanks!

Would linking the "Stop" command to the "Off" button and removing the "Power" command from the "Off" button work?

Yes, I think there is a way to do this. I think I do something similar to have the off command extended b/c my TV is a little funky.
- Log in to your account - For the activity you want, choose "customize" - One of the options there is to "stop on exit". Try that. If it doesn't work, try this: - For the activity you want, choose "troubleshoot". - Go through the wizard options. - When you get to the "review the settings page", choose "Yes, but I want to add more control of options and devices for this Activity." - Then click "save". - There will be a few more wizard screens. - The third one should be the one you want. This screen, "Please review the actions for your DVD TV Activity:" let's you configure extra behaviors that will happen either at the start or end of your activity. You should be able to use it to send a stop command to the extender. |
