STB via firewire unreliable in v7
I loaded V7 of sage a few weeks ago and recently have seen very inconsistent success with the recordings made. For example, i have one channel that i record a few different programs from each day. One of the programs in HD records fine every day while two others do not. The tuning aspect of firewire seems just fine. This is all on a HD channel. The recodings don't indicate a failure message in the log. When you select the show to play it, the hourglass just flashes on the screen for a minute and then it gives up. If i try to play the file locally on the server, i get a codec missing error from media player. I get a similar error trying to open the file in graphedit. Any ideas why some shows don't work anymore?
I'll note there is an occasional Out of memory detected alert at other times in the system events. |

I saw a post a while back that said you needed to continue to use the old version of tssplitter.ax in your firewire recording graph, not the new version that comes with SageTV 7.0. Did you do that?
