It happened to me. Second time I didnt have the time to send it back so I just repaired it myself replacing the caps :-)

If you send it back to Sage for repair, it is not surprising that it failed again. By all accounts, they replaced the caps using parts from the same original source that gave them problems in the first place. So they ended up repairing them with caps that are doomed to fail again.

Yea, so I paid to ship it for repair, under warranty. Now it failed AGAIN and they want $39 to repair it, OR offered me a $20 coupon for a "not-in-stock" HD Theater. a $20 coupon is like a slap in the face after spending so much on an HD100 +repair. Crap CS if you ask me. This is a widespread problem with the HD100, they should be replacing them. I am so fed up right now, if I wasn't so invested in Sage (extenders,etc) I would get rid of it all together.

Mine failed a second time as well. They offered to repair it for free (was just at 1 yr since last repair) or $20 coupon. I read the repair instructions, and found it was cheaper to go to Radio Shack and buy the three caps and solder them in, than it would be to ship it back for another "free" repair.
