difference in signal strength between tuners...
I have two pinnacle hdtv usb tuners and a hauppauge 1600. The 1600 delivers a solid 90% signal strength (cbs) while the pinnacles range drastically from 30% - 90% (same channel). Each of the tuners come off the same splitter. I have also tried removing the splitter and running straight to one pinnacle. Same result. Is this a problem with the hardware or software, etc.? Please help!

It is problem a hardware issue - some tuners are more sensitive than others. According to many forums on the web the latest generation of tuners are supposed to be the best. However that is not always the case - I have a 4 year old Kworld ATSC-110 card that has no problem tuning channels that a brand new Hauppauge 1850 will not see at all.
