Can tv show info be edited?

I have a few favorite shows that have the same basic info every week of what the show is about. Is there a way to edit that so in the future I can see what that show topic actually was? I have modified the file name on some of them to include subject but that is not visible through the sage recordings menu.

The web server plugin can do that, as can various other metadata plugins.

thank you, I tried the STVI to manage and edit metadata using the my files and it is allowing me to do what I needed. However, since I am using the beta vs 7 sagetv, it isnt working exactly right. Some text is on top of other text and it does not erase the old text as you type so it is hard to see what you are actually doing but hey it did allow me to get the job done.

Thanks again, perhaps I will try something else later. This was very easy to add perhaps in the future it will work better with vs 7.

update: Well it seems when I change it for one it changes it for all. Any ideas?

Not sure which STVI you're referring to, but it it was meant for SageTV V6 you should probably remove it and look for a V7-compatible update of it in the UI Mods section of the V7 plugin manager.

For specific instructions on how to use a particular plugin, your best bet will probably be to post your questions in the support thread for that plugin.
