dont want channel/show info when using volume up/down

Hi,
I searched the forums for an answer (and read thru the sage.properties file) but I cant figure out how to do this. when I change the volume, I would like to see only the volume bar and time, but not the channel and show info. (which hides half the picture).

also when I change channels, I would like to see the info for a shorter duration (especially when I am flipping between two channels)

howeve when I want to show osd, with info button on my remote, I want to see the info for a longer duration.

how can I do that?

You can't do either of these in the default "originaV2.stv" but you can do both of these using the Enhanced OSD in the Cayars STV. There are many configurable options for the OSD.

while searching further for this, I found out the STVs by you, mlbdude and others. It seems daunting at first sight. (150 pages on your thread !!!) I think I will give it a shot when I have some free time.
(The commercial skip is what was the deciding factor in my deciding to take the dive)

Actually, switching to a new STV isn't hard at all. They all have brief directions that if you follow will install and work without a hitch.
