7.0.13 and Hauppauge 2250 QAM
Loaded version 7.0.13.235 and ran into the same issue I had with version 7.0.12, my Hauppauge 2250 would not tune QAM channels anymore.
I stropped Sage and replaced DShowCapture.dll from this post: http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...63&postcount=5 and it started working again. Same fix I had to do with version 7.0.12. |

That makes sense, since the new beta doesn't include any notes about any changes to tuning or capture card support.
If you have an HVR-2250 and everything is working at the moment, I strongly suggest not updating to a newer Beta. Definitely do not make any hardware changes or try to add the capture cards into one of the newer betas - chances are you won't be able to tune anything. For everyone that is already experiencing issues, if they're not resolved completely by the alternate dshowcapture.dll, please generate some log files for Sage to look at and file a bug report. Note exactly which version of the Hauppauge driver you're using and exactly which OS version as well. I'm away all week so I can only look at this again starting on Monday, but I'll have some logs form both Win7 x64 and WinXP to provide.

I just ordered a 2250 and plan on using it for analog channels only. Are there any issues with analog tuning or are the problems isolated to QAM?

I have not tried 7.0.13 yet, but had the HVR2250 digital tuning problem with 7.0.12. Analog worked fine and the digital tuning problem was corrected with the referenced DShowCapture.dll. If you are going for analog only, you are probably OK with a normal install.

We'll be putting out 7.0.14 shortly which is the same as 7.0.13; but with this issue corrected.

Just a FYI, but even 7.0.11 failed for QAM *and* analog for me in WIndows 7 x64 when the HVR-2250 was re-added to the system (two cards swapped slots and rebooted twice).
Neither tuning method would find the correct channels. For analog, it seemed like Sage was trying to tune antenna instead of cable - a couple of channels showed a partial (snowy) image.
