Did you restart Sage completely? Right now only the UI restarts by the plugin. I saw similar garbled text until I shutdown Sage and restarted.

First off, EXCELLENT WORK Plucky and all involved in making this happen. This very much increases the "usability" of a large offline DVD Collection. I've imported about 175 online movies into Collection Manager and now I just need to get my offline DVDs from DVDProfiler into Collection Manager and I'll do that shortly

I have a couple things...

1) When I change the options and then restart Sage, all my options are being lost. For example, I changed the spacing between the covers in the Wall view but this defaults back to no spacing when Sage restarts. I also choose to show the "Watched" icon. I realize this can be set independently for each view. When I restart Sage, all my watched checkmarks go away. Is there someplace I'm supposed to "save" these settings that I'm just overlooking?

2) I had some trouble following the Folder view option instructions. Here are some things that might help somebody else...

The Wiki shows quotes around the name and folder. I did this originally but I didn't see any movies and the quote showed up in the folder view so I took the quotes out and now it works.

I couldn't have spaces in the name. I put 4 entries into the Folders.properties file but only 3 were showing up. Figured out it was because two of my entries started with the same word. When this happens, the plugin only sees one of them (but zero movies) because it takes off everything after the space.

While some of the unc paths within Sage are not case sensitive, these are.

And, after working through the above, I got it all working One thing that I did realize that I think would be handy is if you name two of your display folders the same that the plugin combines the movies in the two different folders into one folder view. If it is hard, no biggie, but got to thinking how this could be useful for some... like if you want a "Kids" option but have two folders for the kids (like "Disney" and "KidsMisc") then you could have just one folder view for the Kids

1. the custom options not sticking are you running sagetv in non service mode? If so this is an issue I am currently aware of and looking at some logs to fix it. apparently none of my beta testers ran sage this way

2. I can fixe the space issue by maybe allow a _ instead of a space and changing that can you give me an example of the issue you where having.

3. As for combing good idea could you post that as a request or issue on the google code page please and that will be easy enough i will allow ; as seperators.

yes hit the watched button on any movie I haven't wiki the shortcuts yet I need to do that. Please notice this takes a coupe of seconds to mark it as watched I need to change the way it is doing it, but as you noted you can also do it in the collection manager for time being.

Hit the "Watched" button on your remote.

1. Exactly. There was something back when I first started using Sage that made me not want to or able to use it in Service mode. Was so long ago, I don't even remember the issue but ever since then, I just don't use service mode

2. I had a folder named "Movies VOB" and "Movies AVI" but when in Folders view, all that is present is "Movies" and there are no movies listed... it doesn't recognize either. I fixed this by naming them "Movies-VOB" and "Movies-AVI". After this, I gained the extra folder (went from 3 to 4) and both folder views showed the correct movies.

When I go to the plugin and select it the only options are view details, screenshot, demo and website. Nothing about disable or remove. I have tried 3 times installing 7.0.12 and it worked fine before I installed MyMovies. 7.0.11 seems to work fine though.

You need to go to the "Installed Plugins" section.

I can't help you without logs or bugs report something is wrong either with your setup or my code.

No that is not necessary mymovies is folder based. There is no need to point to individual files if your movies are in their own folder. That would be a very time consuming process. I do not recomend doing it this way as mymovies was not meant to be used that way.

Wow - really? In my MyMovies collection manager, if I do not point the disk to the Online File rather than the Online Folder, the individual file movie will not play. The only way it will play is if the folder structure has includes the VIDEO_TS folder.

d:\Gladiator\Gladiator.ts -- will only play if I point to file
d:\Invictus\MDMV\Stream --- will play by pointing to folder

Am I missing something?

Fantastic Plug In!!

Two things
1. When replacing Video with MyMovies the font is smaller than the other items on the main menu. Is it that way for everyong or just me?
2. Since Custom Menu and replacing Video with MyMoview can not co exist, can we get the option to disable main menu items i.e. TV?

I am not familiar with .ts files is that mpeg 4? It should link up if any compatible video files are in the folder. If that is not the case shoot me an email @ sagemymovies@gmail.com so I can get some logs from you and see what is going on.

1. That is do to it has to shrink to fit in the allotted area of the main menu.
2. My custom menu mod will be made to work with it once I get around to changing it and i will support the native vertical menu as well as horizontal. MyMovies isn't really the place for it to be included.

.ts is usually a mpeg2 transport stream. its raw high def capture usually that i have seen.

Hmm, I don't have any .ts files but I do have single m2ts files which should be treated pretty much the same. I have both those and full blu ray rips and they work fine.

\\Videos\BluRay\2012\2012.m2ts.
\\Videos\BluRay\Cars\BMDV\Stream

In both instance I have \\Videos\BluRay as the import folder and nothing more. Both play without issue.

I just noticed that you aren't using a Root folder such as videos. In that case you should be pointing it to your root directory, d.

I didn't intend to hijack this thread as I think this is a MyMovies issue. I didn't add the directory myself. When I add a title to MyMovies Collection Manager I have to tell it where the folder is where the movie is located. However if the movies is just the one file (2012.m2ts), I then have to go to the Disk option and change it from Online Folder to Online File. When it is the full rip then the Online Folder works fine.

First, Thank you for all your hard work. You really did well and its very much appreciated I know by all of us here. Not only did you invest all that time to code it but now you're investing time to answer questions and finish out the few remaining bugs etc. So thanks very much. Sometimes I think I enjoy messing around with the collection database itself more then the actual watching of the movies.

I was curious though how difficult would it be to add in mouse support? Is there a setting somewhere I can enable? I have my computer hooked up to my tv thru HDMI and do much more then just tv/movies and have always found it simpler to use a mouse to navigate my way around Sage. I know I'm in the minority on this, but if its a minor thing to add in mouse support I know I'd enjoy it, if its a much trouble at all then certainly don't worry about it at all.

Try adding your root folder, IE, D. I think that will fix your issue.

Do you have monitoring on? It should pick those up automatically.

You know I just realized that I confused the issue unnecessarily. The reason I have MyMovies set up the way I have it is because I have been using a CQC-TMT combination to play movies. It was the way CQC had to start TMT that required it to find the file. Sorry to add confusion.
