Plucky, just wanted to note that I'm also getting blank views except all of mine are blank. Just white screens with some of the menu stuff visible. On some of the views it does show 1/575 which is the number of entries I have so it seems to be getting to something. I'll check the wiki as well but I'm posting this because because you said you responded to Davephan via email. Anything I can do for now?

Plucky, are you aware of the issue where if you have no "quickfilters" specified that the UI gets messed up for the Options and you have to back out of the options and then go back in? I did a search and didn't see where this was mentioned. If you are aware of it then good deal, if not, let me know and I'll provide a better explanation

Can i see your logs see the wiki on what and where to send it.

In, for example, the WallView (but this is applicable for any view that has "QuickFilters") I go to "Options" then scroll down to "QuickFilters" if I push the right arrow on the remote I get the flyout but it is BLANK. If I push the left arrow on the remote, the options stuff goes completely away and I go back into My Movies. Normally if you go left when in a flyout menu, you just go back one and in this case it would be the Options. But, if I don't push the left remote button and instead go up or down, the "QuickFilters" text stays large (like it is hightlighted) and the other text I'm actually on is large as well. However, when doing this, the blank flyout menu remains in place and no other flyout menus will work... you basically have to exit out of Options completely then go back into the Options. Once you do this, everything works fine... until you go into "QuickFilters" again.

I haven't dug into what "QuickFilters" are and am just presuming it is blank because I haven't set these up yet. But, I may be wrong on that... is there supposed to be something in the flyout menu when I select "QuickFilters"? If so, I've never had anything in there and the behavior has always been as I described above.

Exited SMM and reopened
verified coverstyle inplace - man it looked cool

Thanks knew they worked about 20 builds ago but haven't tried them since.

Now he question why didn't they show up on the other users?

My favorite coverstyle is the one by stylistic called black glass search the forums for it. It's not on the main page but was posted in the customization forums.

So I looked at the actual image files, and they all have a black border around them. Not sure why though.

Ok I was afraid of that.... Looks like I need to source a different scaling method when a coverstyle is applied the images become pngs and apparently my method is not keeping the transparency. Please bug this so I won't forget. For Now you could turn scaling off on extenders although that will hurt performance a bit.

I received your e-mail with the instructions, to uninstall and re-install. After uninstalling and re-installing, the Sage Movie Wall now works! There are some DVDs that have no graphics that I will need to update and some other minor issues.

I have several questions. Does the Movie Management software have to be run continuously (or any other component) along with SageTV so that Sage Movie Wall functions? The font in the "List View" is too large. I haven't found the place yet to make the font smaller so each title fits in the screen area for the titles. Is there a way to make the List View title font smaller? After ripping additional DVDs, do they automatically display in the Movie Manager, or is there a way to scan for new DVDs?

The tray icon needs to be running for the mymovies monitoring service to pick up new movies and auto add them.

List view is not adjustable the text is large for a reason if it is much smaller it is too hard to read on allot of televisions and making the title fit in the area would be painfull for long titles. This will more thank likey not change.

Gotcha will look into that one. Quick Filters are dynamic filters you set up in the collection manager. You can make your own filters by rating/type/location/date several options and they are dynamic new titles get added automatically if they fall under a filter. I highly recomend filters.

Is there a way to have the MyMovies menu item by itself rather than replacing the videos menu? The reason I ask is that I have my tv, concerts and other videos imported, but I can't access them because I don't have the videos menu any more.

Yes you can open options on the main menu and do whatever you like. You can add back in the default video items you want to the mymovies menu or you can disable it replacing it and mymovies becomes a submenu of videos.

Thanks for answering that question. I couldn't find any info about how to configure the font on those titles. My main TVs are 73 and 60 inches, so the titles would probably be visible with a smaller font.

I did try to add front and back artwork in My Movies Collection Management after watching the video tutorial. When I click the "select front cover' radio button to add the front cover artwork, I do not get a choices to select 'front', 'back', and 'full scan'. I only get the option to open a file. I have a full cover scan, so I would have to split the front and back images manually, unless there is a way to get the three choices (front, back, full scan) to display.

Or just load it as a front cover. CM will ask "looks like you are importing a full scan, split automatically?".

Is anyone else having extremely slow performance on an HD100?

I just unistalled Sage 6.6 and installed the latest WHS Sage 7 beta and updated the firmware on my HD100. List view is slow, but bearable, but the other views are pretty much unsusable. Wall view is by far the worst. This one will pause for several seconds at a time. If I go to options, it can freeze for up to a minute at a time and takes about 15 to 20 seconds to respond to each key press.

I've disabled FadePostersIn (no green light) and disabled all the animations/halos as well as reduced the number of covers on the wall. It helped somewhat but it still extremely slow. I have also tried to rescale fanart with no success in speeding it up. It has been installed for two days with no change in speed.

FWIW, the normal Sage 7 Videos by DVD title seems sluggish as well. It scrolls alright but the covers are slow to load.

Everything seems to run fine on my normal PC client in another room.

The list view should be pretty fast, it is instant on the hd200. Could you look under information in options and tell me what it says on fanart locations please. Does it say local?
