Hmm most of the issues are gone on the google code site and the wiki and version numbers are changed....Must be a new build coming up the pike...If there is be sure and read the change log and update the UIMOD(stvi) and it should auto update the General(api).

Ps if your issue wasn't fixed it wasn't on googlecode or emailed.

I also did not have posters and background (running with 0 points). However, when I signed up for the MY Movies trial, and temp got 2500 points, both posters and backgrounds began to show up. So, based on this it appears that posters (and of course backgrounds) do require some points.

Just FYI for when your trial runs out... I think it was mentioned in the "coming soon" thread but buying $20 worth of points is really worth it for this plugin. I bought the $20 worth and not sure what I'm missing... I know the quality of the backgrounds is not as high but they still look damn good on a large 1080P TV.

If you already updated please update your smm-api under general I had a mistake in my manifest and it didn't force that to update. New updates should force it from here forward.

is the attached screenshot expected behaviour when smm can't find/display the fanart?

i've verified the sage import directory matches exactly with the disc location in collection manager (including the case), and the fanart does exist in the filestorage/sagetv/covers directory as well as in the actual videos' folders. i'm running sage in service mode, updated to the latest plugin just now, restarted sage and cm several times, and rescanned imported media several times.

SMM is trying to display only 11 discs, which is correct as that is all i have imported into collection manager, but obviously the fanart is not displaying, and the title text gets garbled as it animates..even the wait circle stays. The navigation works, but the text animation garbles everything up.

any ideas to where i can continue to hunt for the cause?

No you have a bad import or something going on there. Maybe your computer can't handle the animation or you have core animations turned off in sagetv?

yeah something is really wrong, you shouldnt still be seeing the default background either.

Click select one more time. Clicking on any of the sorts a second time will change direction of the sort.

But I do not see the "Fade Posters In" option.
I only see:
Delay Fade Out (toggle)
Background (toggle)
Background Transparency Level (adjust level)
Fade In Delay (adjust time in ms)

There is no selection to turn off/grey for Posters - only a selection to adjust the time until fade in delay.

I was using the List view - that's why I couldn't see it. This option is only available in Wall View. Thanks.

Actually, it's available in all views that use a poster so, wall view, coverflow, sideways, etc., hence the name of the setting being "poster fade in".

I discovered that the SQL connection error was occurring because I did not run Mymovies Collection Management Tool. After I ran the tool, then I could get past the SQL connection error.

However, when I try to launch the Movie wall, I get a mostly blank screen either on the computer or the HD-200. I'm not sure what the solution is for that problem.

I attached a screenshot of what the Movie wall looks like on the computer screen.

If you exit SMM and re-enter you'll see the movie wall. Plucky is aware of this.

Yes that is a known issue if you try to go into wall and it is still building the database popup comes up then it goes into the wall. Not sure what is causing it yet but it is a known issue.

I didn't see this mentioned in the Wiki and not even sure if it is supposed to be a feature or not so I'll ask

When I select an offline move and press the select button, a popup comes up telling me something like the movie is offline and to insert the disc. It almost sounded like something might happen if I did this so I tried it... but nothing happened. LOL

Question would be then, is this only a notification or once I insert a disc is there some button I'm missing (tried PLAY and SELECT) that will play that movie? If only a notification, is there a possibility Sage My Movies could launch the Sage DVD player after some button (like PLAY) is selected?

That is the intention of it but haven't gotten it in there yet because up until now no one had asked

I will have to look into the best way to go about this but please log a feature request so I will get to it sooner rather than later.

I want to say THANK YOIU THANK YOU THANK YOU to you and the team (not sure if you had one) that developed. It's obvious to me that this was a HUGE undertaking, and man o man it is absolutly beautiful. you hit all the key points, looks, speed, fluiditiy (if thats a word) and its just a masterpiece.

Keep up the awesome work, and i know i say this every time you realease something, but seriously if you need help developing, alpha/beta testing, QA, what ever please PM me and let me know. Im ready to help.

Ideally, if a rental disc was inserted it's info and coverart would be automagically downloaded and updated so one could play the disc from SageMM while it is in the DVD drive.

I have noticed that if, after manually updating the profile, I set the title to Online and it's location to the UNC path of the shared DVD drive ( \\Sageserver\DVD\ ) I can play directly from disc.
