You don't need _infinite_ cards... just enough to cover every channel that you receive!

I always like to schedule more than I know can be recorded. This way Sage will record whatever it can and I'll have lots of shows to watch when I want. I do the same thing on my Tivo, though it is much less efficient at finding the most effiecient(read record the most shows possible) way to handle it.
OK, so you need to get out more and watch less TV (LOL)

Opus, you are just full of it today. This is the second post by you today that made me chuckle.

Uh oh... now I'm in trouble, since I thought that this one was my only off-beat post today. [Edit... unles you meant posts that you read today that might have been written on other days; that would make sense to me.]

Man, you're always a little offbeat. It's a good thing I like your style, or I'd go around deleteing/editting you posts.(joking)

I guess this has turned into another one of those wait for the newset RC threads. I guess it's fitting since the "RC18?" thread has turned into a tutorial on HD partitioning and imaging.

Uhhhh yeah, the above poster just might be lying! He does it all the time.

How do we know you're telling the truth about him? (joking)

I just tested too and the poster was lying . After talking with Narflex that Do Nothing choice is really just a "close this pop-up" choice. It will be reworded to be less confusing.

And just to be sure anyone not folowing the thread closely doesn't know the joking from the real info...Yes, what mlbdude said about the dialog box being reworked to be less confusing is real info from Jeff.(not joking)

OK... now I might be really confused, perhaps. I know I wasn't the original person who was lying, but now I'm wondering if I _was_ lying when I said that it made the conflict icon on the main screen go away. I do have 1 conflict listed, but there is no conflict icon on the main menu of SageTV.

So... now you are telling me that selecting Do Nothing actually Does Nothing and does not cause the conflict icon to go away. Does it go away on its own once the conflict has been viewed, or is there some other reason I no longer see it?

There are un-handled conflicts and handled ones. The icon only comes up for un-handled ones, however any show that will not be recorded due to a conflict is shown. Handled means you either chose an Alwasy option from the pop-up or manually rearranged them in the favorites manager.

ahhh... ok. So the conflict icon would have been for one whose time has now passed & it isn't there at all for the one w/2 favs conflicting, with the lower numbered fav taking precedence. I hope I've got it this time.

well thats strange because, when I go in right now and select a conflict then say do nothing, the conflict icon goes away. If you want, I can take screen shots or you can try it yourself.

Actually, this maybe a bug. When I do it for 1, it removes them for all. Apparently when I restart sage they are back! As long as I dont restart the conflict icon is not there. Anyone else see this?
