Prevx and HD-PVRs

Hello,

My two HD-PVRs have recently started to lockup every couple of days at 2 AM. When one locks up it takes the other with it so they both stop functioning.

In the past, if an HD-PVR locked up it didn't affect the other HD-PVR, so this is unusual in itself. Power cycling the HD-PVRs doesn't work. The only fix is to power cycle and reboot the server. Both of these devices have been working sold for months (with an occasional lockup). I can find nothing in the system logs that indicates something is happening at 2 AM to trigger this event.

It appears this happens with a show on the Science Channel HD. However, this show has been recording fine for months so I don't think this is it. I use firewire channel changing and that appears to be working normally.

The only other thing I can think of is that I recently installed Prevx on my server, though it is only set to scan the system at 11 am. I have currently disabled Prevx until my next reboot to see if this fixes the issue.

Has anyone else experienced any issues like this (HD-PVRs locking up at the exact same time regularly)?

Thanks for the help,
Will

Update: I uninstalled Prevx from the server and the issues have went away.

I don't know for sure that Prevx was causing the problem but after removing the software everything went back to normal.
