FW Channel Changing w/ Win7 Finally Working

The following describes how I finally got firewire channel-changing working, just in case my experience could help others who have had the same trouble.

I did a new install of both Win7 32x and Sage 7.10 and had the following problems:
1. The server half od my server/client machine would not start.
2. Firewire channel changing would work from the command line and from a simple executable that wrote; but it would not work with anything I tried in Sage, including both ExeMultiTuner and FWChannelProxy.

I had installed Sage in a "C:\SageTV" directory path to avoid UAC issues. Then, I disabled UAC, all, to no avail.

My solution was to reinstall Sage in the normal path, i.e., "c:\Program Files\SageTV". Even, with UAC off there are apparently other access restrictions that affect Sage as indicated above. Both the server and firewire channel changing (using ExeMultiTuner ) work now. Hope this helps anyone who has the same problem(s).
