Small feature change request

In version 6 there were thumbnails generated from each of the recordings. This was a nifty feature but it rarely picked a meaningful frame, i.e. it was usually a thumbnail of a commercial instead of the title screen.

In the beta there are really nice series thumbnails that show up in the guide for shows that have not been recorded but if you start to watch something live or start a recording then Sage auto generates the thumbnail from the recording instead.

I would like Sage to stop auto-generating the thumbnails from recordings and use the nice (downloaded?) thumbnails everywhere.

Can a brother get a 'me too'?

I will give you a "me too". Seems to me that this image should come from Phoenix support, BMT images.

I am sure will see improvements from the community in this area for TV show recordings, etc.

Well, I can't give you a "me too". Would be a nice option though.

I keep thinking back to my first 6 months with SageTV, when I was a little unsure about the reliability. The thumbnails made me feel secure. I could see that the show that I wanted to record was indeed recording.

I'm not so insecure any more, now that I use mostly internal tuners. (And I havn't missed a recording for over a year now, even with the HD PVR)
