recordings skipping ahead several minutes per second

Today I had Sage record 5 programs where the timeline advances several minutes per actual second. I checked the actual files and they are truncated, i.e. Not the full program with a corrupt timeline. I remember a similar problem with the Hauppage tuners, but not with the HDHR, which all of these recordings were made with. I am using the latest beta (.10) and the latest drivers for the HDHR, on an XP system (upgraded install from 6.9, not pristine).

Has anyone seen anything similar with the beta?

Just to update, it appears my problem was actually a dying hard drive and not anything to do with the beta. I will know for sure tonight after several more shows record, but at this point, the issue seems to be failing hardware.

I know this is an older post, my Sage is sometimes skipping sections of video also, was it in fact a failing HD ?
