Question regarding folder view

When using folder view, is there anyways to skip that second screen after you select your video, and have it go straight to the detail info screen?

This is the screen I would like to skip because it's essentially useless:

Maybe it could be done with a simple plugin?

After highlighting the video you want to watch just hit the "play" button on the remote instead of "Select" and it should skip that screen and immediately start playing.

I don't want it to play, I want it to go directly to the detailed info screen.

Folder view is like a file browser - since you have the movie file (Avatar.mp4) in a Folder with the movie name, that's how it's going to present itself as you browse.
