1 Favorite record on 2 channels.
I dono if I missed it, but this is a long time request. Instead of checking off multiple channels for a favorite to record off of. I'd like to check off multiple channels and have it record from each.
We like to watch shows OTA on US channels, but they sometimes loose signal. So we record on Canadian channels, but Canadian channels cut previews off the end etc.. Plus you do not see the US ads. Any input?

I'm pretty sure if you just create two separate Favorites, and link each one to the specific channel, then it should work. I'm not 100% sure about that; but definitely give it a try.

Keyword Favorites will record duplicates of the same show. The downside is that kind of favorite will record *every* instance, so you will probably want to limit the days / hours and firstrun / rerun.

This is still an issue, creating 2 favorites works sometimes. But it's hit or miss. Keyword favorites did not work either.
I would much rather watch the US feed. Seems like such a simple request. Let me just explain again incase it wasn't clear: America's Got Talent 9pm to 10pm and 10pm to 11pm Is on both NBC & CityTV. I have a massive antenna, rotor etc.. And NBC drops out sometimes - making shows completely unwatchable. I would much rather watch the US feed as Canadian networks do not show previews, cuts to ad breaks are sometimes pretty bad. etc.. Either an option to Check off 2 channels - Record off BOTH. Or something like Disable Favorites plugin - but instead makes Sage think each show is unique.

It may take a plugin to do, as it would have to mark each airing as a manual recording, to get around the sage's wisdom.
Or, you could just mark them manually yourself.. ;-)

Sounds like an easy task for SJQ. And you get one task for free.

![]() Ha, it would probably be quite simple for anyone that has coded a Plugin before.. ehheeh I guess this should've been posted in the Customization thread - but as you can see when I posted this.. V7 was still beta.
