Problem moving files to new computer
I just built a new system with W7-64. Installed latest Sage SW. I followed the procedure outlined for moving Sage files to a new system. The old system had 3 recording directories. The new system has 1. I copied all of the files from old to new (about 400 of them). Configured Sage on new system, then shut it down. Replaced wiz.bin from the old system. Set advanced_video_file_recovery to true and brought it up. It said it was updating the database. When it came up, there were only 2 programs listed. Under Media, Videos, I can see all the files; however, they are just the raw file names. It found these even though I didn't specify that directory as an import directory.
Any thoughts as to how to proceed? Thanks a bunch.

When you say "latest Sage SW", do you mean v6 or are you using the v7 beta? Please state version numbers instead of "latest".
If you are using v6 on Windows 7 & you have UAC enabled, you may have copied wiz.bin to the SageTV install directory, while SageTV is using the file that is in the VirtualStore. - Andy

Never mind....... I had the wrong wiz.bin....
Once I used the correct one, it worked like a charm. Sorry for the false alarm.
