Background elimination / Transparency of sub-menus feature request

I'm starting to get used to the new Sage7 interface now.

One feature I'd like to have is the ability to control the transparency/opaqueness of the sub-menus that open up over the starting screen background. (i.e., how much of the background I see through the transparent overlay sub-menus).

Alternatively, eliminating the start screen background entirely once sub-menus come up is another option.

Maybe its my old age (gasp! over 30!), but sometimes the details from the background interfere with my ability to read the sub-menu screens very well...
